DEADLINE: JANUARY 15, 2001 24TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE BILINGUAL EDUCATION: A HUMANISTIC APPROACH TO EXCELLENCE Dear Colleague: We cordially invite you to present at the Twenty-fourth Annual Conference of the New York State Association for Bilingual Education. The conference will highlight current trends in bilingual education programs. We look forward to having teachers, professors, administrators, paraprofessionals, parents, graduate students and publishers share their knowledge, experience and expertise with others in the field of bilingual education. We need your participation to make this a most exciting, interesting, challenging and professionally rewarding conference. Presentations in English or in languages other than English are welcome. The conference focuses on how bilingual education can empower our students to become leaders in a multicultural and increasingly demanding society which relies on the advanced knowledge and skills of its members in all disciplines, including the area of technology. All individuals are invited to submit proposals for presentations regarding the use of innovative techniques and strategies for the education of culturally and linguistically diverse students.
